Thys obtained his LLB degree in 2018 and joined VFV in 2019 as a candidate attorney. Thys was admitted as an attorney in March 2021. Thys attends to various civil litigation matters, which include Magistrate, Regional, High Court matters as well as Arbitration and Mediation proceedings. He attained experience in a various set of legal issues and specialises in insurance law, delictual law, motor law, third party claims and commercial litigation. Thys attends to the recoveries department’s litigation matters for various clients, including major insurance companies.
