Rikus obtained his BCom LLB degree in 2020 and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa on 8 August 2022.

Rikus currently practices as an Associate in the firm and deals with various matters pertaining to commercial law, family law, law of delict, corporate law and administrative law.
