Bernelee gained vast experience in British Immigration Law and Nationality over a period of 10 years prior to graduating with an LLB degree. During her time working in the industry, she studied full time at the University of Pretoria and obtained her LLB degree in 2017. She joined VFV in 2021 as a candidate attorney and was admitted as an attorney during 2023. Bernelee acquired experience in a diverse set of legal issues ranging from drafting commercial contracts, shareholders’ agreements and parental plans and settlement deeds. She also has experience in opinion work, regulatory compliance, and legal research. Bernelee attends to various civil litigation matters, which include Magistrate, Regional, and High Court matters. She currently practices as an Associate in the firm’s litigation department specialising in insurance law, dilictual law, motor law, third party claims and commercial litigation and specifically attends to liability matters for various clients, including major insurance companies.
